Programme

1)   Learn ' LAYERING TECHNIQUES ' - A demonstration
2)  Talk on ' BONSAI CREATION ' including potting mixture, plant protection and urban eco systems -  Mr M. HARIHARASUDHAN, B.Tech., M.S.,
(Speaker is a Computer Engineer turned Horticulturist)

Members are requested to bring plants for styling and correction

PROSPECTIVE  MEMBERS  ARE  WELCOME
Guest charge :  Rs 100/-

PLEASE  BE  PRESENT  EARLY  TO  START ON  TIME.

    Hey hi! This is Ram. I came to know about bonsai art recently and was searching bonsai related information and reached here. Myself and my Mom are very much interested and would like to learn about it. Unfortunately, I see the exhibition is just ended yesterday :( . How can I contact you guys or do I need to wait till next meet? Please help.

    Hi to all the bodhi's, I have been contemplating with the idea of learning the art of bonsai, however the thought of depriving a plants it's natural growth makes me want to think otherwise. I was just wondering how ethical is it to bonsai a plant and is it alright to Meddle with nature and it's kind.

    Dear Anonymous,A rose bush, a jasmine bush and even a mango tree and all fruiting trees, flowers and fruits well only when we prune them regularly.Their natural growth is not impeded , in fact they thrive better.every Bonsai lover will tell you how much time and attention they spend on their bonsai plants.It is the only living art.most of the plants are got from wall crevices, rocky terrain and even discarded plants, so in a way you are giving it a new life. I think you should give bonsai growing a second thought. good luck , Sheela Babu
