Some of my trees......

Bonsai  created by T. GEORGE  of Bodhi Bonsai Association.
The picture of Casuarina bonsai  was exhibited at the International Convention at Baroda.
Mame Bonsai.

Mame bonsai is created like any other bonsai. From cuttings, seedlings or by air layering.
They can also be created by pruning small potted plants to a smaller size.

Shohin and Mame are similar toother styles of bonsai, but there are some differences in their care and guidelines.
Regular watering and fertilising is very important as the volume of soil is very minimal..
Tiny pots are used with legs.
In mame some times a leaf will take the place of a branch. Not much of wiring is required. But great attention should be given for an overall balance.
The size varies between 2" to 10".A mame should be able to be hole in one hand.

Some mame bonsai.
