Members who were absent in the last monthly meeting, missed something great!
We saw a ‘Raft style’ (Ikadabuki) using Casuarina, for the first time, in a monthly meeting. Besides, Dr Yogesh demonstrated 2 more inspiring items:
An upright style using Jade &
Semi Cascade style on a kind of cherry tree.
Sensei Akira Hatayama's intricate and fine wiring on Casuarina showed a good Weeping style.
He also explained how to convert kitchen waste into organic manure in a short period.
Sensei Hatayama methodically practices this method to make organic manure on a regular basis.
He uses only this manure for his Bonsai plants.
Experts from the group found time to assist the members to shape and style all the plants brought by them.
